About Ness Turf

Ness Turf Equipment may have a new name and location but we have been providing ag and turf solutions for over 50 years in Hawaii and the outer islands. 

In 1965, we were first known as Inter Island Equipment, a subsidiary of Theo H. Davies & Co., LTD. Then in 1979, we became part of Pacific Machinery Inc. after the company decided to focus on growing the Caterpillar brand.
 Since 2004, Hawthorne Pacific has continued the long legacy of ag and turf operations by further expanding the business within our existing retail locations.

In late 2012, we moved all our products, parts and services under one roof to our new Kapolei facility to focus on providing the best customer experience on the Islands. With that move we changed our name to Ness Turf Equipment. In addition to our new location, Ness Equipment services the neighboring islands as well as Guam, American Samoa and Saipan. Hawaii is now home to the first-ever, stand-alone Ness Turf Equipment store. The new location opened in March 2013 in Oahu's Campbell Industrial Park.  Our recent expansion continues the natural evolution of our 50-year history throughout the Pacific region. Ness Turf Equipment continues to offer the best sales, parts and service available for golf courses, sports fields, and state and federal municipalities.

Ness Turf Equipment is proud to be part of the Ness family of companies. Every year since 2005, the company has been named one of Hawaii’s top 250 businesses by Hawaii Business magazine.
